Hot Rolled Steel Structures

Adept’s engineers are well acquainted with the use, design and specification of structures made from hot rolled steel sections and can be relied upon to provide a cost effective and efficient design solution working within the parameters of British Standards or Eurocode.

Fabricated steel building solutions are assembled onsite without the need for cutting and welding as such they are sometimes deemed to be offsite construction, its just that we have seen this structural method used for decades and often is not considered to fit the modern MMC image.

Remarkably adaptable, they are relatively easily extended commonly by increasing the footprint. In addition, a building can be repurposed internally, sometimes requiring additional members to be added for structural integrity. As well as being used on its own it can be integrated into a hybrid solution with other materials.

A steel building can be designed to eliminate vibration from human, machine or weather movements. Steel exhibits a predictable amount of sway in common conditions with limited movement, it is a dynamic material capable of being formed into endless shapes from simple to complex geometries, allowing slender designs.

Hot rolled steel is a well-established construction material with a wide array of standard sizes available complying with British/European Standards. Our engineers are well acquainted with the use, design and specification of structures made from hot rolled steel sections and can be relied upon to provide a cost effective and efficient design solution working within the parameters of the required structural standards.

Steel is recyclable and in more recent years structures have been deconstructed and moved as opposed to demolition and sold for scrap or confined to land fill, retaining it’s strength even after repeated recycling.
